M 24 (Sagitarius Star Cloud), NGC 6603

Messier 24 (The Sagittarius Star Cloud, Delle Caustiche or IC 4715) is a star cluster in the constellation of Sagittarius. Sometimes it's called the Small Sagittarius Star Cloud to distinguish it from the Great Sagittarius Star Cloud located to the north of Gamma and Delta Sagittarii. Some sources, incorectly, identify M24 as the faint cluster NGC 6603, which is in the middle of the image..
