M 79

Messier 79 (also catalogued as NGC 1904) is a globular cluster in the constellation Lepus. At a distance of about 41,000 light years away from Earth and 60,000 light years away from the Galactic Center. M79 is thought to belong not to Milky Way at all, but instead to the Canis Major Dwarf Galaxy (?). The image was taken remotely from the remote controlled IRIDA Observatory .
