NGC 2170 (Vdb 67), VdB 68, VdB 69 and NGC 2182 (VdB 72), LBN 999

Amazing field just east of Orion. This is one of the most colorful patches of the entire sky. Beautiful collection of reflection nebulae, dust and a subtle stripes of ionized Hydrogen. In the center of the image is the reflection nebula VdB 69. Three other reflections are VdB 67 (NGC 2170) - below, VdB 68 (at the right) and NGC 2182 (VdB 72) at the top middle of the image. The large patch of dust and ionized hydrogen just left of the Vdb 69 is the Lynd's bright nebula LBN 999.
